The LG washer/dryer was in one unit, however we have added a faster clothes dryer above
The bottom unit:
Yes, this is a washer and dryer all in one box. You put dirty wash in and it comes out clean and dry. It takes longer but not much, considering that you don’t have to be there to transfer wet clothes into a dryer. Figure it takes two hours but you can set it and forget it for all that time.
It has no vent and no lint trap. It sort of works like a tumble washer that just keeps on tumbling until all the water has been removed. If you want to speed it up you can interrupt it and hang things outside on the railings. Also, if you have a big load, the instructions say to dry only half of it at a time. This is known as the bulk setting and when you use it it doesn’t let you set a dry cycle because it wants you to remove part of the bulk at the appropriate time, then dry.
It’s easy to use and, pleasantly, quite musical.
…but we have added the new dryer above because the cleaning service needs to be able to dry things faster. Use both or just the bottom one, however you want.
